Paternity and Parenting Actions in Washington State

Paternity means fatherhood.  A paternity (or parentage) action involves unmarried parents who need to establish the legal relationship between a parent, typically the father, and the child.

There are numerous ways to establish paternity including by legal presumption through marriage, paternity acknowledgment, and court order.  Genetic testing may be necessary.  Once established, a child support order and parenting plan are established.

Please contact Weintraub Law Office at +1-425-474-3045 or contact us online to discuss your parentage case.
