Network of Experts

Weintraub Law Office teams with experts in and around Seattle to provide counsel of the highest caliber. To ensure your case gets the individualized attention it deserves, we routinely team with the following experts:

Forensic Accountants

Forensic accountants perform several tasks including analysis of financial records, fraud and theft investigations, audits, valuations of assets and income derived from employee compensation packages including deferred compensation and stock options, business valuations and pension valuations.

  • Morrow Kessler & Dowsing – Steve Kessler
  • Hanlin Moss P.S. — Michael Moss
  • Hawes Company – Ben Hawes

Parenting (Custody) Evaluators/Guardian Ad Litems

If you and your spouse cannot reach an agreement regarding a parenting plan, most courts will order a parenting plan evaluation performed by a parenting evaluator or guardian ad litem prior to trial.  The choice of evaluator is crucial to a fair, unbiased report.

At Weintraub Law Office, we carefully vet potential proposed evaluators for bias, professional reputation, conflict of interest, and prior business and personal relationships with the opposing attorney and party.

Vocational Assessments

When a spouse is unemployed or allegedly voluntarily underemployed, vocational assessments are used to evaluate a person’s current and/or future employment capabilities and wage earnings range.

  • Career Discovery — Jan Reha
  • Strategic Consulting Services, Inc.

Real Estate Appraisers

We work with experienced real estate appraisers to determine the fair market value of your property.

  • Appraisal Group of the Northwest (Appraisal Group of the Northwest )

Divorce Therapists

Mental health experts play a crucial role during the divorce process both for fact-finding in Washington divorce or divorce related cases and to help parties through this often stressful, difficult transition.

  • Kristin Little – parenting counselor and child specialist
  • Amber Bauerle – divorce recovery therapist
  • Justin Pere – Clarity Counseling Seattle

Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (“QDRO’s)

A qualified domestic relations order, commonly referred to as a “QDRO”, is a special type of court order that transfers pension plan benefits and retirements accounts from one spouse to the other as part of a divorce or legal separation.  To help keep fees down, Weintraub Law Office frequently uses trusted, affordable QDRO experts to prepare those documents.
